Materials

There are several things that every flute student must have in order to succeed. This includes a flute (in good repair), a music stand, a metronome (not for beginners), pencils, music, and a quiet place to practice. Each student should bring his/her flute, music, and a pencil to each lesson. If the student leaves his/her flute at school, or if the flute is being repaired, I have a spare flute that can be used for that lesson. Occasionally it will be necessary to purchase new music. Most music can be purchased at any local music store, or you may order music through Flute World at 248.855.0410 or www.fluteworld.com.
